About Our Teachers
We are pleased to have recruited the best teachers at As-Sabiqoon Online Academy who are committed to nurturing and inspiring every student they care for. We support them to do this through world class professional development, amplified by the sharing of international best practice.
Our teachers will assist you to pronounce each word from it actual origin and apply all tajweed rules proficiently. The course is molded to cover the mode of recitation of Hafs an Asim with practice sessions to ensure that the student masters phonetics and articulation.
Chief Coordinator : Umm 'Abdillah
She is a graduate and holds a professional degree In pharmaceutical sciences. She has been learning tajweed for over 13 years. And has a teaching experience in tajweed for more than 6 years. She holds ijazah in Tajweed and Recitation of the Qur'an: Mode Hafs An Aasim. She has experience in teaching locally as well as on online platforms. She has also learnt Classical Arabic and other Islamic sciences.
Sub Coordinators :
1. Umm 'Uthmaan:
She is a Hafizah and is pursuing Ijazah in memorisation of mode Hafs An Asim from an Arab teacher. Has a experience of 5+ years in teaching.
2. Umm 'Abdir Rahman:
She is pursuing Ijazah in Recitation from Arab teacher. She has teaching experience of 4+ years.
Method of the Class
The main class will be conducted once a week in which the detailed articulation points, characteristics of the letters, and complete tajweed rules will be explained followed by three sessions in a week to train the students to implement the rules in their recitation with one on one attention in a very flexible timings.
Monthly tests will be conducted to make sure students are revising the lessons being taught in the classes. And there be final exam after each level to get promoted to next level.
Certificate will be given at the end of the course if the student scores 90% in final exam.
